East Coast Oysters meet Texas Digs

When 2020 happened, Brendan Yancy knew it was a sign to not sit around waiting to pursue his passions. With a lifelong connection and love for the Northeast, he decided to bring his love for New England Oysters to his friends and neighbors in Austin, Texas. With restaurants closed, Brendan had a few friends over for an oyster party where he’d do the shucking and they’d do the eating. The next thing he knows he and his buddies are quickly selling out Oyster Parties each weekend, and Austin Oyster Company is born. With an online ordering site offering oyster delivery and shucking services, the next piece they needed was a brand identity. That’s where GDC came in to craft a visual language that could communicate fresh oysters and old-fashion Texas grit.
